How do I know if I need a chiropractor?

Chiropractors treat a wide variety of complaints and injuries but it may be hard to know if it is the right treatment for you. In order to help you make the right choice we offer a free consultation and are happy to answer your questions if you wish to email or call us.

What to expect on your first visit:

You will be welcomed by our warm and friendly staff and if you completed your paperwork online it will already be here. If not it will take 10-15 minutes or so for you to fill out our paperwork. After your paperwork is all done, you will be asked to smile pretty for a photo that will be electronically attached to your file to prevent any fraud and to help us put a name with a face. Then you will meet with Dr. Eckmann for a thorough history and examination which may include x-rays if deemed necessary. Following the history and examination Dr. Eckmann will explain her findings and the treatment she believes you need. After this she will proceed with the treatment that the two of you discuss and agree on.
  • Please bring your insurance card or insurance information if this is a work or personal injury.
  • We do not gown our patients. Just dress comfortably so you can move as needed.
  • Bring along any x-rays or imaging reports you have had in the past one to two years, if you have them available.
  • First appointments take about 45 minutes.
